At the gym
A weightlifting log for barbell, dumbbell, machine and bodyweight exercises. Choose your exercises and weights; Four Plates keeps the record.
See last time’s weights and reps next to the set you’re logging. Add how it felt if you like, then log the set.
Keep your usual gym routines ready to start. Pair exercises into supersets and log a set of each, with rest after each round.
Use the rest timer between sets or after a superset round. The barbell plate calculator draws the weight you’ve chosen and shows the plates on each side.
Your training is stored on your iPhone. With iCloud, it syncs through your private, end-to-end encrypted database so only your own devices can read it.
Import your history from another app as CSV. Four Plates lists anything it skips and why.
Logging, history, routines, supersets, import, export, backup and sync are free. Pro adds the Apple Watch app, longer-range charts, bigger widgets and more, with a one-week free trial on the annual plan.
Part of Four Plates Pro: start a routine or Freestyle, see the next set, change weight or reps and tap Log Set. The Watch follows the session on your iPhone, where your training is recorded.
Save every session, routine, custom exercise, note and goal in one file. Restoring adds only what’s missing, without changing or deleting anything already in Four Plates.
Records count new bests from sets of 3 to 12 reps; singles and doubles never count for the Records medal. Medals add up over months and years.
Free and Pro
Keep unlimited sessions, routines and training history for free. Four Plates Pro adds longer-range progress charts, larger Home Screen widgets and a Lock Screen rest timer.
Four Plates Pro includes the Apple Watch app: start a routine or Freestyle, then the next set, a rest ring, and one tap to log it, with the session on the iPhone.
